First Post (at last)

Phew, what a journey that was!

Prologue

What began as a week-long fun activity, came to be a torture 3-month project (on and off). I started believing that it wasn’t going to end or even come to a publish-able state at some point, but there it is. Even right now, it feels like a fever dream to write this first “canon” post. I made a deal with my self- to bring the website live before the new year - and it seems I made it (15 mins before 2025 but still counts in my book).

Mid-journey Hell

This is something I procrastinated for years. The already-made Hugo templates/themes weren’t cutting it for me as they weren’t fitting my vision or weren’t custom enough for my bad tastes. I needed something I’d see and know I created it. In that sense, I think I succeeded, judging from the pretty messed up CSS. Don’t get me wrong- AI Chatbots made this WAY more complicated that it should ever be helped A LOT… However, the finishing touch was definitely mine.

Epilogue

This is my own corner in the vast space of the web. It certainly needs much more ironing but as a first stage, I am happy to publish it. Even if somebody who likes clean code, pretty aesthetics and consistency may commit seppuku if they stumble upon this website.
